If the person whose bid was accepted by the Town fails to enter into the contract, such person’s bid bond shall be forfeited to the Town, and the Board of Trustees may then accept the bid of the next lowest reliable and responsible bidder or reject all bids as in its judgment may be best for the interests of the Town.
