The Chief of Police shall be the head of the Police Department and shall, in addition to the duties imposed upon all members of the Police Department, exercise general supervision and control over the work of all members of the Police Department, prescribe the number of hours and the times of day or night when police officers shall be on duty, and report to the Town Manager any violations of duty on the part of any police officer or any failure to comply with any order of the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall attend such meetings of the Board of Trustees as directed by the Town Manager. (Ord. 1002 §4, 2009; Ord. 1003 §1, 2009; Ord. 1088 §1, 2012)
