Whenever in the International Fire Code it is required that permits be obtained, such permits shall be obtained in writing from the Town Clerk. Before any such permit may be issued, the Fire Chief shall make or cause to be made such inspections or tests as are necessary to assure that the provisions of said code are complied with, and the Fire Chief shall approve the application for permit. All permits shall be valid for the calendar year in which they are issued and shall be renewed each year. (Ord. 941 § 1, 2007)
