No property owner or occupant shall set out or plant any trees, shrubs and/or plants in that part of the street or alley right-of-way between the property line and the curb line or edge of pavement abutting such property without first obtaining a permit therefor or approval of a landscape plan required pursuant to the Land Use Code. Applications for permits for such plantings shall be made to the Town Clerk. The placement of trees, shrubs and/or plants shall be of a variety and be planted or placed according to a plan approved by the Planning Director or designee and the Town Engineer or designee. All care and pruning of such trees, plants, shrubs and other plantings shall be the responsibility of the property owner. (Ord. 978 § 12, 2008)
